During high school, people had thought of Prompto as a lazy trouble maker. The trouble maker part maybe a bit, though it was mostly to give Noctis something to laugh at or look forward to. The gods knew he rarely ever did, and it had become Prompto's duty to be court jester as it were. But no, his 'laziness' was more a struggle to concentrate on the minutia of school work. Which he hated. Though when he has something to dedicate himself too, he rarely, if ever, drops the ball.

Like his unofficial appointment as court jester, Prompto has taken his role as caretaker very seriously. Noct hasn't woken yet and Gladio... is Gladio.

So the moment there's even an inkling that Ignis is moving about on his own, Prompto snaps awake and scrambles to sit up. He's exhausted. They're all exhausted. War doesn't lend itself well to restful sleep.

"Iggy?" He rubs at his eyes, contacts dry and itchy. "You need something, buddy?"
